街头艺人被迫用法语演唱 魁市市长回应：“我们在魁北克”

魁北克市正在进行一个限制街头艺人只用法语演唱的试点项目，却受到强烈的批评，市长马尔尚 (Bruno Marchand) 表示对此感到惊讶。
市长马尔尚回应说： “ 我们这里是魁北克市，不满意的人可以去其他地方表演。 ”
今年 5 月，魁市修改了 Petit Champlain 区街头艺人的规定。
马尔尚表示，当反对者以 “ 英语吸引游客 ” 为借口批评这项措施时，他说自己 “ 大吃一惊 ” 。
他坚称魁北克市是法语城市， “ 大家要接受法语是我们文化的一部分。 ”
魁市政府指出，该试点项目只是一次尝试，并沒有阻止土著艺术家用母语演唱。
