蒙特利尔康大学生 强烈谴责魁省禁止设立祈祷室计划

蒙特利尔一所大学的穆斯林学生表示，他们对魁省政府禁止高等院校设立祈祷室的计划深感不安。
他们表示，康考迪亚大学 (Concordia University) 的祈祷室是穆斯林社群的重要聚集地，每天至少有 500 名学生使用。
一些学生表示，他们选择就读康大正是因为该大学多年来一直拥有完善的祈祷室。
魁省政府预计将于今日 (27 日 ) 提交一项法案，该法案将禁止公共机构（主要是学院和大学）设立祈祷室。
该法案还将禁止高等院校学生佩戴遮蔽全脸的面罩，例如尼卡布 (niqab) 。
康大的学生表示，这些措施不公平地针对穆斯林社群，并将迫使他们在校园内寻找其他祈祷场所，从而造成新的问题。
