魁北克省选：CAQ称有必要限制移民人数

魁北克未来联盟(CAQ)领袖勒戈(François Legault)为省选竞选活动发表移民政策时声称，他希望魁北克的人口保持类似瑞士等「小国」的规模，而不是像加拿大总理杜鲁多般希望将移民增加到「极端」水平。
勒戈周一(5日)说：「重要的是要让居住在魁北克的人们过上高质量生活。因此，提高人口到1千万或3千万并不是我们的目标。」
他进一步指出，魁北克现时的860 万人口规模，让政府有能力提供优质服务。 「我们不需要跟上加拿大其他地区的步伐。」
勒戈重申，每年吸纳5万移民已经是极限，否则法语便有衰落的危机。他说若连任，在下一个任期内没打算改变。他警告说：「我们将不会有任何改动，但必须视乎法语的衰落有否停止。」
