通货膨胀下的恶果 魁北克店铺盗窃数量激增

魁北克的店铺盗窃数量在通货膨胀下激增了15%，店铺聘用的保安员人数量同时猛增 50%，对企业造成严重影响。
魁北克警方证实说，尽管2022年还没有结束，已经录得1,706起入店行窃报告，而2021 年为1,478起。
Garda保安公司主管Marc-André Plaisance 指出，他们在疫情期间的人手需求增加了25%。近几个月来在通货膨胀影响下，人手需求猛增了近 50%。
在美国，沃尔玛（Walmart）首席执行官麦克米伦（Doug McMillon）甚至表示，盗窃案的上升可能会迫使他关闭门店。
加拿大沃尔玛发言人 Steeve Azoulay 强调说，他们采取了多种措施来防止盗窃，并确保员工和客户的安全。 “我们还希望尽可能减少盗窃，以保持我们的每日低价。”
加拿大零售协会魁北克分部主席罗切特 (Michel Rochette)承认说，店铺盗窃数量的确着增加。他说：“我们觉得通货膨胀是其中一个重要原因。”
