魁省议员料获加薪3万 辩称有助招揽人才

魁省政府内阁领袖巴雷特 (Simon Jolin-Barrette)周四(10日)向省议会提交一项将议员年薪提高3万元的法案。
如果该法案获得通过，省议员的基本工资将从$101,561增加到$131,766。
执政党CAQ的议员对此涨幅感到满意。议员Youri Chassin表示加薪是跟随了委员会的建议，并认为增幅合理。
经济部长菲茨吉本(Pierre Fitzgibbon)指出，提高薪水将吸引更多人才从政。
但是加薪引起了反对党的不满。团结党(Québec solidaire) 质疑CAQ有否询问选民们对工资增长的意见。
加拿大纳税人联合会认为议员加薪是不可接受，尤其是在当前的经济环景下。
该组织发起了反对加薪的请愿书，并收集了超过 1.5万个签名。
委员会分析议员薪酬的报告于几周前提交。其中一项建议是将省议员的基本工资从$101,561增加到$131,766。
然而，许多议员因为有额外的职责，使他们能够赚取更高的薪水。例如，部长级议员的薪酬将由$177,732增加到$230,591。省长的薪水将从$208,200增加到$270,120。
该报告表明，省议员平均每周花费63小时工作。
然而，魁省议员的薪水即使有所增加，仍低于联邦国会议员的$194,600年薪。
