被指建议中国推迟释放两名加人 董唅鹏已聘律师控告《环球新闻》

联邦自由党国会议员董唅鹏(Han Dong ，图 )周一(27日)表示已经聘请律师，将对《环球新闻》(Global News)提出诉讼。
《环球新闻》日前发表文章指董唅鹏在2021年2月与中国驻多伦多总领事韩涛会面，并建议北京应推迟释放两名加拿大人 - 康明凯和斯帕弗。
董唅鹏向《环球新闻》证实说他与韩涛进行过讨论，但否认曾建议北京推迟释放这两名加拿大人。
《环球邮报》(The Globe and Mail)上周五报道，政府收到了加拿大安全情报局针对董唅鹏与韩涛谈话的笔录，得出结论认为没有「可采取行动的证据」，并补充说无法确定董唅鹏因政治理由而要求中国政府延迟释放两名加拿大人 。
董唅鹏在周一在推特发布声明说，他已经聘请律师「可以最大程度地开始法律行动」。
董唅鹏并写道，父亲在 1970 年文化大革命期间遭到关押。他说：「从那次经历中，我父亲知道他在中国没有未来。」
董唅鹏说他支持对中国政府的干涉进行公开调查，并表示他愿意与政府最近任命的外国干涉问题特别报告员、前总督约翰斯顿(David Johnston)会面，并向他提供信息。
