Angus Reid 研究所周一 (26 日 ) 公布的最新全国民调显示，加拿大总理卡尼的支持率达到 60% ，为他自去年 3 月上任以来新高。
该研究所总裁库尔 (Shachi Kurl) 分析说，卡尼上周在达沃斯世界经济论坛上发表对美强硬的演说，提升了他的个人形象。
库尔表示，加美关系将是选民未来关注的焦点。 “
保守党党领博励治 (Pierre Poilievre) 的支持率为 36% 。
尽管卡尼人气急升，但看来未能打动选民对自由党的投票意向。
库尔解释说： “ 这未必能转化为自由党在投票意向方面取得更高的胜算。 ”
民调显示，全国有 41% 的选民表示支持自由党，而 38% 倾向保守党。
Angus Reid 的民调完成于卡尼周一宣布大幅增加 GST 退税额之前。
