“加拿大鹅”关闭魁省Boisbriand厂房 逾180工人恐失业

加拿大知名服装制造商“加拿大鹅”(Canada Goose)证实将在三个月内关闭位于魁省Basses-Laurentides的 Boisbriand 厂房，180名工人有可能失去工作。
“加拿大鹅”已经向魁省劳工部提交估计的裁员人数，并表示将尽可能把员工从Boisbriand 转移到蒙特利尔的Chabanel厂房。
该制造商说历史悠久的蒙特利尔Chabanel 服装区非常适合他们，指该地区具有许多优势，包括公共交通便利、人才和未来扩张的机会。
该公司表示：“我们仍然坚定地致力于在加拿大的业务，并将继续在魁北克和全国各地生产我们的产品。”
2019 年，“加拿大鹅”邀请媒体出席其位于 Chabanel 区中心的工厂正式开业典礼。在1980年代，有8万多名工人在Chabanel 区工作。
2 月，“加拿大鹅”制定目标在5年内实现30亿元的销售额。
“加拿大鹅”于1957年在多伦多成立，公司拥有 4千多名员工。
