查尔斯比伊丽莎白更优胜？魁人支持率低得可怜

对君主制普遍持怀疑态度的魁北克人，只有1%人相信加拿大新元首查尔斯三世会做得比其母亲更好。
负责民调的Léger市场公司副总裁布尔克（Christian Bourque）说：“除非他能够做出成绩，否则查尔斯三世和他的母亲（伊丽莎白二世）不在同一个级数。”
该公司最近的一项调查非常明确：绝大多数接受调查的魁北克人都认为女王的长子不如她“好”。
蒙特利尔魁北克大学政治学教授切夫里尔（Marc Chevrier）补充说：“我们可以推断，伊丽莎白已经证明是他们的好君主，查尔斯要与她平起平坐，无疑要攀越一座座的高山。”
不得不说，即使在英属加拿大，这位73岁的新君主也从来没有激起人们的热情。
还记得在2009 年，时任王子的查尔斯在妻子卡米拉的陪同下访问加拿大，当时的 Léger 民意调查显示，只有2%加拿大人认为他们会成为“强大”的君主。
布尔克指出，他与卡米拉的婚外情，以及与戴安娜的激烈离婚，很多人仍然记忆尤新。
