赤字惊人 蒙特利尔公交车永久取消“最多10分钟一班车”服务

有些蒙特利尔公交车路线乘客可能已经习惯了“最多 10 分钟一班车”的服务，但他们将要等待更长的时间。
蒙特利尔公交局(STM) 周五(6日)表示，由于他们面临财政压力和乘客习惯的改变，不能再承诺提供最多每10分钟一班公交车的服务。
公交局最初是在2010年宣布保证31条公交车路线最多每10分钟一班，但近年已经减少到8路线：18号Beaubien、24号Sherbrooke、33号Langelier、64号Grenet、103号Monkland、106号Newman、141号Jean- Talon est和406号Express Newman。
公交局将从 1 月 9 日起永久终止这剩余8条路线的10分钟一班服务。
资金不足是公交局取消承诺的主要原因。去年 11 月，公交局预测2023年的赤字将近7,800 万元，并警告说正面临“重大财务困境”，一些路线的班次将有所减少。
再且，近年在家工作的盛行，当局也因此根据乘客的需求而调整路线的服务。
公交局补充说，大多数最初提供“最多10分钟一班车”服务的路线，仍然会提供较密的班次，约为每 12 分钟一班。
