魁省餐饮业与很多行业一样缺乏人手，蒙特利尔一家餐厅为此愿意提供极具吸引力的薪水。
Sushi by Scratch餐厅将在蒙特利尔开设分店，其员工的起薪为每年8万元。
该餐厅的合伙人李先生 (Phillip Frankland Lee，译音) 说：“我们不会将服务行业视为只为小费工作的雇员，我们愿意支付像专业人士一样的薪酬。”
该餐厅还提供继续教育、餐饮积分、假期和病假的津贴。
与许多行业一样，自疫情封锁以来，魁北克的餐饮业面临着多项挑战，随之而来的是劳动力短缺和食品成本上涨。
为了应对人手问题，许多餐馆提高了工资并修改了营业时间，让员工有更多的休息时间。
李先生于蒙特利尔老城区开设他在加拿大的首家餐厅。
他说：“我们希望大家努力工作从而享受专业人士般的生活。”
