加国人口突破4千万 估计最多两成移民10年内离加

加拿大统计局表示﹐在今天(16日)东岸时间的下午3时前﹐加拿大人口将突破4千万大关。
加拿大统计局首席统计师Anil Arora说：“这是一个里程碑﹐充分显示加拿大是一个充满活力和潜力的国家。”
加拿大统计局的数据显示，本国的人口增长率为2.7%，是自1957年以来最高。 2021年1月至2022年期间，加拿大新增人口超过100万人﹐在史上首次。
统计局表示﹐人口不断增长主要是依赖临时和永久性移民。统计局表示﹐如这种趋势持续下去，到了2043年﹐加拿大人口可能达到5千万，并在大约26年后再翻一番。
疫情期间﹐由于边境限制，人口增长在2020年至2021年间短暂停滞。但当疫情纾缓后﹐数字很快又回升了。 2021年，超过830万人是加拿大移民或永久居民﹐占总人口的23%﹐是自1867年加拿大成立联邦以来﹐比例最高的一次。
虽然如此﹐但新移民在加拿大找工并不容易﹐即使是高技能移民有时也很难留在加拿大，理由是缺乏加拿大工作经验、高租金和不断增长的生活成本。
统计局保守估计﹐约有15%至20%的移民将在10年内离开加拿大。
