蒙特利尔市政府宣布启动一项紧急计划，以应对全市路面坑洞数量急剧增加的问题。
蒙特利尔执行委员会主席皮纳尔 (Claude Pinard) 表示目前的情况需要迅速采取行动。他说今冬反复的冻融循环，对街道状况影响极大。
市政府还强调了长期投资的重要性，并指出其首份预算中包含了 2026-2035 年基础设施建设项目，拨款 6.838 亿元用于道路重铺和修复。

蒙市政府鼓励居民拨打 311 或使用 311 Montréal 手机应用程序报告路面坑洼。该应用程序允许用户提交照片、地理位置数据并跟踪服务请求。
市政府还提醒居民，任何寻求车辆损坏赔偿的人士必须事故发生后 15 天内提交索赔表格，市政府将在调查结束后提供书面回复。
最后，当局再次提醒大家在未来几周内谨慎驾驶。
