魁省家庭暴力凶杀案 “迈向创纪录的一年”

魁北克上周六(26日)发生一起震惊全省的伦常惨案，一名父亲在Lanaudière区Notre-Dame-des-Prairies杀害了自己的双胞胎儿子后再自尽亡。而且在几天前，疑凶拉蒙塔涅(Ianik Lamontagne)因骚扰前妻而被捕。据称他在前妻的房子里安装偷听器，并在她的车底下放置一个全球定位追踪系统。
魁省参议员博伊斯韦努(Pierre-Hughes Boisvenu)形容事件是一场难以想像的悲剧。
博伊斯韦努并认为，政府可以做得更多防止悲剧发生。
在2011年至2020年间，魁省共有56名儿童被父母其中一位杀害，其中多数是被父亲所杀。而同期有近100名妇女因家庭暴力而被杀害。
博伊斯韦努称，魁省尽管已经采取了一些行动，例如电子脚环，但只有离开省监狱的2%或 3%的男性佩带。
博伊斯韦努认为政府必须做得更多，尤其是联邦政府。 “渥京有必要修改《刑法》，以确保释放条件更加严厉。”
他补充说，在魁北克省，当局对精神障碍患者的监管几乎完全破产。他并指在2023 年，与家庭暴力或精神障碍有关的谋杀案将创下纪录。
