“我们付不起！” 市民聚集抗议大蒙特利尔公交车票加价

近50名市民周二(27日)在市中心聚集，抗议大蒙特利尔地区所有公共交通系统的车资即将在7月1日起增加。
尽管车资的平均涨幅为3%，低于通货膨胀率，但对于低收入者来说仍然太多。
其中一名抗议者莱萨德 (Heloise Lessard)说：“我付不起车费，很难探望住在市郊的家人。”
平均涨幅取决于购买的通票类型和目的地。例如，蒙特利尔岛上的公交车和地铁成人单程票涨至3.75元，上涨0.25元，涨幅为7%。
成人月票从 94元涨至 97元，相当于上涨了 3.2%。但岛上的老人现时可以免费乘车。
蒙特利尔弱势群体的支持者表示，加价幅度应该根据个人的收入和支付能力浮动。
负责管理大蒙特利尔地区公交系统的大都会地区交通局 (ARTM)表示，他们今年面临5亿元的赤字。
ARTM指出，全球很多地方的公交票价均大幅上涨，他们成功把车资涨幅限制在3%，已经算是一场胜利。
