疫情导致魁省辍学人数激增三成 令人堪忧

来自魁省 44 个学校服务中心的数据显示，自大流行开始以来辍学人数的大幅增加。中学生在过去两年的辍学率增加了近 30% ，尽管上一学年的情况略有改善。
这些数字来自向该省 72 个学校服务中心提出的信息获取请求。
心理学家和辍学专家 Égide Royer 说，尽管这不是教育部计算的官方数字，仍然具有重要参考价值。
魁北克社区组织总干事马索莱（ Mélanie Marsolais ）对数字并不惊讶，她说： “ 大流行加剧了年轻人的困难，例如心理健康问题。年轻人的痛苦仍然很大，即使是那些没有辍学的人。 ”
马索莱补充说，由于劳动力短缺，年轻人更容易找到工作，而且薪金也较高。
她特别担心女孩辍学，因为女孩子不太愿意接受职业培训。
她认为大流行的影响仍将持续数年，她补充说： “ 是的，我们看到数字开始下降，但刚回到中学的年轻人也遭受了很多挑战。我们将不得不在十年内密切观察情况。 ”
