魁省省长承认：赚取$18时薪很难过活

魁北克省长勒戈（François Legault）周四（8日）承认说，若你赚取18元时薪，很难在魁北克有尊严地生活。
魁北克团结党 (QS) 议会领袖纳多-杜布瓦 (Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois)要求将最低时薪标准由14.25元提高到18元，但勒戈拒绝了直接回应，声称应该提高平均工资。
省长指魁人现时的平均时薪为25元，他表示希望提高到26至28元。 “我们的目标比团结党更具野心。”
Legault承认说18元时薪很难令人维持生活，尤其是当你有孩子的时候。
纳多-杜布瓦形容省长的回应是“令人震惊”和“非常具启发性”。
他指出，魁北克仍有80万人每小时的收入低于18元。 “勒戈今天承认他非常清楚这80万人无法生存，他却选择不改变这种情况。”
纳多-杜布瓦进一步说：“他选择将最低工资保持在一个甚至不允许人们有尊严地生活的水平。”
