新民主党国会议员跳槽加入 加拿大自由党距多数政府又近一步

联邦新民主党的努纳伏特 (Nunavut) 区国会议员伊德卢特 (Lori Idlout ，下图 ) 转投联邦自由党，使得自由党距离多数政府又向前迈进一步。
联邦新民主党在 10 日晚上发表声明，表示对伊德卢特决定加入自由党感到 “ 非常失望 ” 。

连同伊德卢特，自由党目前在众议院的 343 个议席中占得 170 席，距离取得多数议席执政仅差两席。
新民主党的议席将降至 6 席。
总理卡尼日前宣布，三个联邦选区 ( 包括蒙特利尔的 Terrebonne 和大多伦多两个选区 ) ，定于 4 月 13 日进行补选。
只要自由党能在这次补选中取得两个或以上议席，即可成为多数政府执政，而自由党在上述大多伦多的两个选区，拥有相对稳固的胜算。
