大蒙特利尔区冻雨来得晚 强度或低于预期

预计带来大量冻雨的天气系统正缓慢穿过魁北克南部，其强度或会略低于预期 。
气象预测机构MétéoGlobale的总裁博布瓦（Jean-Charles Beaubois）认为，蒙特利尔大都会区的降雨强度可能低于最初预测。
加拿大环境部预测冻雨量为20至30毫米，但他们周二表示该系统的确切路径仍不确定。

鉴于蒙特利尔位于该系统边缘，而一两度的温差就可能造成很大影响，因此很难预测冻雨何时转为降雨以及具体的降雨量。博布瓦表示：“目前的情况与我们的预测基本一致。当然，降雨量可能低于加拿大环境部的预测。”
他补充道：“蒙特利尔地区已经形成阵雨带，正向魁北克市方向移动。蒙特利尔南岸地区预计降雨量为5至7毫米，蒙特利尔市区降雨量预计为10至15毫米，而不是之前的15至20毫米。”
由于天气关系，大蒙特利尔区绝大部分学校均于周三停课。
