美国当选总统特朗普周三 (18 日 ) 再次于社交媒体上指加拿大是美国第 51 州，并形容是个 “ 好主意 ” 。
特朗普是在社交媒体 Truth Social 贴文，指加拿大成为美国第 51 州是个很好主意。
他又表示，不少加拿大人都想枫叶国成为美国一个州。
特朗普称，加拿大人可以省回大笔缴税和军费，这是一个很不错的主意。
特朗普最近多次指加拿大是美国第 51 州，并指总理杜鲁多是美国的州长。
根据 Leger 的一项在线的最新民意调查， 13% 的加拿大人希望自己的祖国成为下一个美国州。
特朗普这一轮的言论，正值方慧兰辞职和多方要求杜鲁多下台。
