魁市北美最古老杂货店即将结业

在经营 150 多年后，位于魁市北美最古老的杂货店打算在 1 月末关闭。
经历大萧条和疫情，于 1871 年开业的 J.A. Moisan ，其合伙人 Donna Willett 做出了关闭杂货店的艰难决定。
她说要关闭这样历史悠久的店铺令人难过， “ 有很多顾客进来后都会像在博物馆一样拍照。不幸的是，这对我们的生意来说是不可持续的。 ”
Willett 于 2019 年买下了这个位于 Saint-Jean 街的建筑。
她的货架上摆满了主食、精品和魁北克奶酪，目前这些商品都以七五折促销。
Willett 预计店铺将在本月底关闭。她说，成本上涨和大型连锁超市的竞争等多种因素导致了这家杂货店的倒闭。
Willett 说杂货店连续几年都在亏损，销售额没有增长，所有东西的成本都在上涨。
事实上，全省各地的小杂货店都在努力维持营业。
虽然 J.A. Moisan 将关闭，但 Willett 没有出售该栋建筑的打算。她计划出租这处历史悠久的空间，并表示已经有人对此感兴趣。
她希望无论谁接手，都能给这个地方注入新的生命，让它再延续一个半世纪。
