体感气温-30°C！ “极地涡旋”杀到 蒙特利尔增设更多临时取暖庇护所

为了迎接“极地涡旋”的来袭，蒙特利尔增设更多取暖庇护所供应给有需要人士使用。
蒙特利尔周一(20日)晚上的气温将降至-24°C，体感气温预计达到-30°C。这次寒流将持续数日，周二晚间气温将达到-24℃，周三晚间气温仍然低至-19℃。
在极寒天气期间，蒙特利尔都会开放临时取暖庇护所会，为有需要的人们提供过夜的椅子和零食。
取暖庇护所会主要设在市中心Ville-Marie区，其中包括在市政厅、Stanley街的YMCA和UQAM大学的J.-A.-DeSève展馆。
当局还会在Saint-Laurent区Marcel-Laurin街公交局(STM)的办公室增设庇护所。蒙特利尔市执行委员的博德里(Robert Beaudry)解释说，这是为了弥补蒙市北部对无家可归者提供的服务不足。
当局还会为有需要人士提供免费交通服务接载他们前往临时庇护所。
蒙特利尔市长普兰特(Valérie Plante)在脸书(Facebook)的帖子说道：“我们有必要采取措施保护在冬天最弱势群体的生命。如果我们见到紧急情况，请拨打911以挽救生命。”
博德里指蒙特利尔无家可归者的数量明显增加，市政府因此一直在呼吁魁省政府增加资金解决问题。
