魁省削减经费 蒙特利尔多位区长忧课后活动将减少

蒙特利尔的几位地区区长表示，魁省政府削减教育预算将使到课后活动陷入危险。
自 2018 年以来，一项名为“Reflex Montreal”的协议允许学校在晚上和周末免费开放体育设施。
作为回报，魁省政府向学校提供资金来支付费用。
然而，在 12 月中旬，资金被削减了。
Pierrefonds-Roxboro 区长 Jim Beis 表示，当地组织将全部削减活动，或提高儿童活动的费用。
Beis 質疑說：“组织必须承担租金成本，但是如果提高登记费，孩子们还会参加吗？”
“他们最终可能只能够留在家里玩电子游戏或在街上闲逛。”
魁北克教育部发言人表示，学校服务中心可以在 1 月之后继续执行该协议，但将得不到省政府的帮助。
Beis 表示这些开支高达数十万元。
