加拿大环境与气候变化部 (ECCC) 周三 (29 日 ) 早上发布了冬季天气预警，警告大家要安全出行。
该机构指大雪、强风和低温的结合可能导致能见度低并使道路变得湿滑，造成出行条件恶劣。
预计结冰状况将持续整个上午到中午。
ECCC 预计会有 5 到 10 厘米降雪量。 “ 恶劣的天气条件可能导致交通延误。 ”
ECCC 还要求人们考虑避免非必要出门，直到情况好转。
周三的最高气温为摄氏 -8 度，但风寒效应可能会使早上体感温度达到摄氏 -23 度，下午体感温度达到 摄氏 -16 度。
降雪应该到晚上停止，预计最低气温为摄氏 -16 度，风寒效应会使晚上体感温度达到摄氏 -15 度，深宵体感温度达到摄氏 -25 度。
预计周四天气晴朗，下午晚些时候多云。预计最高气温为摄氏 -10 度，风寒效应使早上体感温度为摄氏 -25 度，下午体感温度为摄氏 -17 度。
