亚马逊撤出魁省 失业人数激增至4,500人

据 CTV 新闻报导，决定退出魁北克的在线零售巨头亚马逊 (Amazon) ，造成的失业人数将远高于之前报道的 1,700 多人。
魁省劳工部提供的数据显示，亚马逊将导致超过 4,500 人失业。根据劳工部的数据，亚马逊关闭在大蒙特利尔地区的七个仓库，造成 1,903 名工人失业。
截至 1 月 29 日，劳工部还收到了 20 多个亚马逊的不同配送合作伙伴的 2,640 份裁员通知，这些都与亚马逊退出魁北克省的决定有关。
加拿大工业部长商鹏飞 (François-Philippe Champagne) 试图与亚马逊首席执行官贾西 (Andy Jassy) 会面，希望说服该跨国公司重新考虑其决定，但似乎毫无进展。
亚马逊发言人 Steve Kelly 表示，该公司正在 “ 按计划推进 ” 关闭在魁北克的设施。
