蒙特利尔市长对美国暂缓关税表示高兴

蒙特利尔市长表示，她很高兴看到特朗普对加拿大商品征收关税的计划暂停 30 天。
“ 很高兴听到关税将暂停至少 30 天， ” 市长普兰特 (Valérie Plante) 在社交媒体 X 上写道。 “ 我们将继续多元化贸易伙伴关系，并与上级政府合作，让我们保持团结和支持！ ”
在美国宣布暂停征收关税之前，普兰特表示蒙市正在评估对美国供应商可能征收 25% 的 “ 罚款 ” 。
她还表示，市政府之前也在审查其供应商登记处注册的美国公司名单，以寻找本地和其他替代方案。
特朗普对加拿大商品征收 25% 的关税原定于周二生效。渥太华的反关税计划也原定于周二开始实施，对原产于美国的价值 300 亿元商品征收 25% 的关税。
