加拿大任命“芬太尼沙皇”打击毒品 以换取美国缓征关税

加拿大 2 月 11 日任命了一位打击芬太尼专员，以履行先前加拿大对美国总统特朗普做出的阻止芬太尼跨境流动的承诺。
据报道，这项职位将由布罗索（ Kevin Brosseau ，图）担任，他曾在加拿大皇家骑警工作 20 多年，近来并担任总理杜鲁多的副国家安全和情报顾问。
此前特朗普威胁说，如果加拿大政府不采取更多措施阻止芬太尼跨境流动，他将对所有从加拿大进口的产品征收关税。杜鲁多上周与特朗普进行了两次通话后，特朗普同意暂缓征收关税一个月以换取一些让步，其中之一就是任命新的 “ 芬太尼沙皇 ” 。
杜鲁多办公室 11 日在发布的声明中表示，布罗索将与美国对等人员和执法机构密切合作，加快加拿大正在进行的侦查、破坏和摧毁芬太尼交易的工作。
公开数据显示，美国查获的所有芬太尼中，仅有 0.2% 来自加拿大边境，绝大多数来自南部墨西哥边境。
