加拿大国旗日：特朗普激發民众爱国情绪 枫叶旗飘扬

、威胁对加拿大祭出关税后，不料激起加拿大民众的爱国情绪，还导致加拿大国旗销量激增。
2 月 15 日是 “ 加拿大国旗日 ” （ National Flag of Canada Day ），今年也是这面红白枫叶旗帜首次作为国旗的 60 周年。
加拿大多伦多北部巴里市（ Barrie ）的国旗制造商称其销售额比去年同期翻了一倍，老板之一的斯基普（ Matt Skipp ）称公司每年生产超过 50 万面旗帜，正在考虑增加班次并采购额外材料以满足激增的需求。
斯基普将国旗需求激增归因于特朗普对加拿大主权的威胁： “ 这是对政治气氛的直接反应，加拿大人团结在国旗下，将其视为团结的象征。 ”
加拿大政界人士呼吁国民本周末悬挂国旗，以展示团结和民族自豪感。
特朗普 2 月 3 日宣布对加拿大大部分商品征收 25% 的关税，即使其后已推迟实施，加拿大民众还是纷纷取消了 “ 南下 ” 美国的旅行，开始抵制美国产品，甚至在体育赛事上向美国国歌发出嘘声。
