蒙特利尔轻轨接连受大雪影响服务 魁省交通部长召开紧急会议检视情况

由於蒙特利尔轻轨 (REM) 一再出现延误和服务中断的情况，魁省交通部长吉尔伯特 (Geneviève Guilbault) 召集了轻轨管理方 Caisse de dépôt 和列车供应商 Alstom 召开紧急会议。
交通部周二 (18 日 ) 证实，部长将在下午 1 点左右召开会议，以检视最近的服务故障并研究改善方案。
吉尔伯特将于周二晚些时候会见媒体。
事实上在周二早上，由于轨道上有积雪，轻轨仅能够维持每 22 分钟一班车的有限度服务。
在正常情况下，列车的班次在繁忙时段应为 3 分 30 秒，非繁忙时段为 7 分 30 秒。
轻轨官员归咎于雪暴导致路轨的切换和转换方向没有正常运作。
轻轨周一曾经暂停运行，随后恢复 20 至 40 分钟一班车的有限度服务。
为了疏导乘客，轻轨为乘客安排了接驳巴士。
