歌手冰球赛修改加拿大国歌歌词 以抗议特朗普言论

周四 (20 日 ) 晚上，在上演四国对抗赛（ 4 Nations Face-Off ）冠军赛之前演唱加拿大国歌的歌手更改了《噢！加拿大》 (O Canada) 中的歌词，以回应美国总统特朗普多次表示要让加拿大成为第 51 个州的言论。
周四晚上，在四国赛冠军赛开场之前，来自温尼伯的加拿大女歌手克雷维亚祖克（ Chantal Kreviazuk ）献唱《噢！加拿大》，还把歌词从「在我们所有人的指挥下（ in all of us command ）」改成「只有我们指挥（ that only us command ）」。
在加拿大队以 3-2 加时获胜的比赛中，克雷维亚祖克解释她修改歌词 “ 是因为我相信民主，一个主权国家不应该要对抗暴政和法西斯主义。 ”
“ 我是听着音乐长大的，音乐触动了我的心灵，让我成为了一名词曲作者，也让我真正成为了一个人， ” 她补充道。 “ 我认为，如果我登上了世界舞台却不能表达自己，不忠于自己，那对我来说就是不真实的。 ”
报道指特朗普称《噢！加拿大》很美丽，说要留给加拿大做「州歌」。此外，他威胁对加拿大征收 25% 的进口关税，一连串的行为已激起加拿大民众的爱国情怀和厌恶。
