魁省联同皇家骑警 拘捕逾100名侵害儿童色情罪犯

魁省警队联同安省警队、加拿大皇家骑警的国家儿童剥削协调中心 (CNCEE) ，在全国进行的一次大规模行动逮捕了超过 100 名涉嫌对儿童实施网络性犯罪的嫌疑人。
这项名为 STEEL 的打击儿童性剥削行动于 2 月 17 日至 28 日进行，迄今为止已逮捕 106 人及缴获 1,132 台电子设备，同时有 37 名儿童受到保护。
嫌疑人目前面临的指控包括持有和制作儿童色情制品、侵害未成年人、煽动性接触、刑事骚扰、未经授权持有枪支等罪名。
魁省警队警官 Katherine Guimond 指出，每一次调查不仅是揪出性剥削儿童的罪犯，更重要是保护无辜受害者，并在日益复杂的数字环境中维护他们的尊严。
