消息称哈德逊湾百货(Hudson's Bay) 考虑关闭一半店铺

加拿大历史最悠久的百货公司哈德逊湾 (Hudson's Bay) 上周五启动重组程序，该正在努力求生的公司可能同时缩减规模。
据知情人士透露，这家百货公司正考虑关闭其 80 家门店中的约 40 家，尽管这个数字可能会发生变化。
哈德逊湾公司没有就是否会关闭门店发表评论，但其总裁兼首席执行官 Liz Rodbell 在上周的一份声明中表示，公司即将进行的重组是 “ 非常困难 ” 但 “ 必要 ” 的步骤。
未来几周，随着涉及该公司的债权人保护程序在安大略省高等法院审理，究竟有多少家门店要被关闭将由法院决定。
成立于 1670 年的哈德逊湾，希望利用这些程序进行重组和简化运营，以便继续经营，而不是选择破产，否则将导致公司关闭。
近年来， Mastermind Toys 、 The Body Shop Canada 、 Ricki's 和 Cleo 等零售商也申请了债权人保护。这些零售商至今仍在运营，尽管转换了持有人，但都通过债权人保护程序关闭了店铺。
