蒙特利尔市中心 Ville-Marie 区发布煮沸水警告。
市政府表示，居住在 Guy 街 (Saint-Jacques 街和 Saint-Antoine 街之间 ) ，和 Wrexham 街的居民，不要饮用自来水，至少把水煮沸一分钟。
市政府表示在情况恢复正常后将发布通知。
除了饮用外，煮沸水还适用于以下用途：

为婴儿准备奶瓶和食物
-
冲洗和准备生的食物（包括水果、蔬菜等）
-
准备不需要长时间烹饪的食物（罐头汤、甜点等）
-
准备冰块
-
刷牙和漱口
-
给宠物喝水。
未煮沸的自来水可用于热水洗碗、洗衣服、洗澡或沐浴。
市政府提醒，即使安装了家用过滤装置，也应将水煮沸。此外，该地区的学校、企业和机构应关闭饮水机，并公布水质状况。
