蒙特利尔收紧短期出租法规 违者每天罚款1千元

蒙特利尔周二(18日)通过了一项针对 Airbnb 等平台上短期出租的更严格限制，以缓解蒙市的住房危机。
市议会周二通过了一项新条例，允许人们在 6 月 10 日至 9 月 10 日期间将房屋出租用于短期住宿。
两年前，蒙特利尔老城区一栋建筑发生火灾，造成 7 人死亡，该建筑在 Airbnb平台上列出了非法短期租赁。
尽管魁北克自此已采取措施遏制非法租赁，但蒙市在 1 月表示，短期租赁平台上 4千套房屋中有超过一半是非法出租的。
新条例允许检查员对指定日期以外出现的房源处以每天 1,000元的罚款，对屡犯者处以每天 2,000元的罚款。
Airbnb 对该条例提出了批评，称其将损害蒙特利尔的旅游业，而且该平台对住房供应的影响微乎其微。
