魁省财政部长：预算赤字将创历史纪录

魁省财政部长吉拉德(Eric Girard)表示，2025-2026年度的预算赤字将比去年历史性纪录的 110 亿元还要庞大。
吉拉德周五(21日)表示，美国总统特朗普的关税政策引发的不确定性正在严重破坏经济，迫使政府立即采取措施保护企业和工人。
新的赤字数字将被纳入下周公布的魁省预算中，估计将包括一系列措施支撑经济。
吉拉德在蒙特利尔举行的联邦省财政部长会议上对记者说：“我们需要认识到正处于高度不确定的环境中，政府必须在保护公共服务的同时集中精力发展经济。”
他说：“一方面，由于不确定性很大，经济变得疲软。” “另一方面，我们必须采取措施支持经济。眼前的财政状况更加困难，但我们正在以负责任的方式恢复预算平衡。”
吉拉德表示：“我们希望企业进行投资，进行创新，以实现市场多元化。为此，我们必须在短期内为他们提供帮助。”
去年 3 月吉拉德提出的 2024-2025 年度预算中，魁北克的赤字达到了创纪录的 110 亿元。这几乎是 2023-2024 年度的两倍。
吉拉德在 11 月的经济更新报告中预测2025-2026年度的赤字将达到 92 亿元，但当时并未发生关税引发的动荡。
