加拿大将取消首次置业者购买100万元以下房屋的GST税

加拿大总理卡尼周四 (20 日 ) 宣布了一项重大政策变更，将取消首次购屋者购买价值 100 万元或以下房屋的商品及服务税 (GST) 。
这项减税措施预计将为合资格的首次购房者节省高达 5 万元，使更多年轻人和家庭能够进入房地产市场并实现住房所有权。
总理办公室表示，加拿大正陷入住房危机，需求增加，供应却跟不上，而且价格过高，因此新届政府立即采取行动应对这场危机。
透过取消 GST ，加拿大人将面临更低的前期住房成本，并可以在口袋里存更多的钱。取消商品及服务税也将对增加供应产生动态影响，刺激全国各地新房的建设。
卡尼表示这一政策改变凸显了政府致力于为人们减轻负担并促进购房的承诺，他并声称将很快宣布一系列新措施来增加住房供应。
