配合轻轨西岛支线5月18日启用 蒙特利尔公交车80条线路将改造

蒙特利尔西岛和中北部地区的公交网络将进行重新设计，以配合轻轨西端支线的开通。
蒙特利尔公交局 (STM) 周一 ( 20 日 ) 确认，改造后的公交网络将于 5 月 18 日正式启用，与轻轨 西岛 Anse-à-l’Orme 支线的开通日期相同。
公交局表示，此次网络改造将影响蒙特利尔岛上 6 个行政区 9 九个城市的近 80 条线路。这项改造工程历时数年，被公交局称为其历史上规模最大的改造项目。

公交局称，此次公交网络改造旨在提升乘客体验，适应当前及未来的出行需求，使公交网络与轻轨的开通相衔接，并使其更加高效便捷。
公交局形容此次重新设计将使乘客受益匪浅，包括更多与轻轨网络的换乘、 15 条线路增加班次（其中 4 条线路在晚间和周末延长服务时间）以及新增 8 条线路。
