魁北克省将大砍永久移民名额

魁北克省移民部长表示，政府将把永久移民名额大幅调低，最低降至每年 2.5 万人。
移民部长罗伯格 (Jean-François Roberge ，图 ) 表示，政府将研究每年 2.5 万、 3.5 万和 4.5 万移民名额的三种方案。
目前来说，魁省预计在 2025 年接收约 6.4 万名永久移民。
但罗伯格表示，由于失业率上升、住房压力加大以及保护法语的挑战，有必要下调永久移民名额。
移民部长表示，魁省还希望将联邦政府管理的临时移民人数从 40 多万减少到 20 万。
他说魁省政府在宣布 2026 年至 2029 年的最终目标之前，就这些变化进行磋商。
