加拿大环境与气候变化部 (ECCC) 周四 (19 日 ) 发布预警，大蒙特利尔地区存在龙卷风和强雷暴风险。
ECCC 表示目前的天气状况有利于形成危险的雷暴，可能带来强阵风、破坏性冰雹和暴雨。
暴雨可能引发山洪暴发，并显著降低能见度。
ECCC 呼吁大家在行雷时待在室内。每年都有加拿大人因雷击丧生或受伤。 ”
由于存在突然刮起狂风的风险，人们也应避免水上活动。
ECCC 指出： “ 强阵风可能损坏树木、建筑物，并掀翻车辆。 ”
大冰雹也可能造成重大损坏和伤害。
