魁省教育部长德兰维尔 (Bernard Drainville ，图 ) 已指示全省各学校服务中心采取措施，以减轻周一热浪来袭造成的影响。
部长在社交媒体上发帖称，学校如有必要应该停课。他指多个学校服务中心已开始行动。
副部长瓦雄 (Stéphanie Vachon) 在写给各个学校服务中心的信函中，鼓励学校采取任何必要的预防措施，以确保所有人的安全。
加拿大环境部预计未来几天，体感气温将超过摄氏 40 度。
