魁北克女子加入恐布组织ISIS 认罪遭判刑

一名魁北克女子 2014 年离开加拿大加入恐怖组织，周一 (21 日 ) 承认恐怖主义罪行被判刑。
29 岁的舒瓦伊 ( Oumaima Chouay ) 承认一项参与恐怖组织 ISIS 活动的罪名。
舒瓦伊是加拿大首位以配偶身份通过家庭向恐怖组织提供支持而被定罪的人。
此前，她还面临另外三项与恐怖主义相关的指控，但这些指控周一被暂缓执行。
法官接纳控辩双方的意见，判处舒瓦伊一天监禁，这是在她已服刑的 110 天预审拘留之外的额外刑期。她还被判处三年缓刑。
公共安全委员会表示，她将被要求继续接受去极化疗法，并避免与极端主义相关人员和团体进行任何直接或间接接触。
公共安全委员会检察长多尔海 (George Dolhai) 周一在一份书面声明中表示： “ 建议的量刑考虑了舒瓦伊表达悔意、承担责任、致力于摒弃极端主义意识形态。 ”
舒瓦伊是加拿大公民，她承认前往叙利亚加入 ISIS ，并知道自己将与 ISIS 武装分子结婚，并 “ 在 ISIS 的教义下 ” 抚养子女。她并未涉嫌参与任何直接与恐怖主义相关的战斗活动。
