总理卡尼扬言将加速扩建蒙特利尔港口

加拿大总理卡尼 (Mark Carney) 表示，蒙特利尔港口和曼尼托巴省港口的扩建将是首批加速推进的项目之一。
卡尼表示，政府将在 “ 未来两周内 ” 宣布新的港口基础设施建设项目。
卡尼说： “ 目前有很多项目正在推进，建设这些基础设施是本届政府的首要任务。特别是那些有助于我们深化与欧洲伙伴关系的基础设施。 ”
卡尼周二 (26 日 ) 访问了德国和拉脱维亚，就能源和关键矿产达成了新的协议，以扩大与欧洲的贸易联系。将液化天然气 (LNG) 和关键矿产等产品运往欧洲，因此需要对加拿大的几个港口进行基础设施升级。
卡尼特别指出，蒙特利尔港口的扩建将是其政府重大项目法案下首批批准的项目之一。此次扩建将使蒙特利尔的集装箱营运力增加 40% 。
