邮政工人工会周六起转为轮流罢工 将恢复邮件和包裹运送

代表 55,000 名加拿大邮政工人的工会 CUPW 宣布，将结束全国性的罢工行动，并从本周末开始转为轮流罢工。
工会周四 (9 日 ) 晚上发声明称，轮流罢工将于全国各地当地时间周六 (11 日 ) 上午 6 点开始生效。
CUPW 工会全国主席辛普森 (Jan Simpson) 表示： “ 这将恢复邮件和包裹的运送，同时我们将会继续为取得良好的集体协议和提供优质的公共邮政服务而努力。 ”
在宣布此消息前的一天，工会与联邦政府负责管辖加拿大邮政的政府改革、公共服务和采购部长黎保尔 (Joël Lightbound) 会面，表达了对邮政服务营运将作出的一些改革的担忧，这包括了扩大社区邮箱规模和关闭一些郊区邮局。
