曾遭受伴侣暴力对待魁省女性 仅四分之一报警求助

魁北克统计局11日发布的报告显示，在遭受现任或前度伴侣暴力对待的魁省女性中，仅四分之一（26%）联系了警方求助。
西西利亚(Daniela Gonzalez-Sicilia)为该项名为《魁北克亲密伴侣暴力概况》报告的作者，她说调查是基于对47,012人的访问。她认为仅四分之一的报警比例是非常低。
调查没有探究暴力受害者没有报警的原因。最引人注目的是，18至29岁的女性在遭受亲密伴侣暴力后最不愿意报警，比例高达82%。
西西利亚认为，年轻受害者可能更难认识到自己所遭受行为的犯罪性质，或者她们不太了解可获得的支持服务。
调查显示，中学没有毕业的群体（43%），以及生活环境欠佳的受害者，报警遭受亲密伴侣暴力的比例更高。
