蒙特利尔市中心扩大停车表收费时间 政府急煞停

艾斯鲍姆 (Ziggy Eichenbaum) 上周把车停在路边打算到蒙特利尔市中心 Crescent 街的酒吧消遣时，他发现到停车表上显示的收费时间有了很大的变化。
贴纸上显示停车表的收费时间为周一至周五上午 8 点至晚上 11 点；周六上午 9 点至晚上 11 点，及周日上午 9 点到下午 6 点。
这比之前的收费时间有着显著变化，旧的收费时间为周一至周五上午 9 点至晚上 9 点；周六上午 9 点至晚上 6 点，及周日下午 1 点到 6 点。
有关变化经媒体报导后，引起了商户及市民的激烈反对，一些店铺老板更直斥在经济还未完全复苏的情况下，政府延长停车收费时间，等同把消费者赶离市中心。
由于坊间怨声载道，市政府上周六急发声明已经暂停该措施。
市政府在声明写道： “ 我们的首要任务是确保经济活力，并且会先咨询合作伙伴。停车表突然改变了收费时间的贴纸，明显是跳过了行政程序。 ”
市政府声称已经要求暂停此项措施，因为有需要进行调整。除了将审查整个定价过程，并会与合作伙伴进行适当的沟通。
