魁北克启动新一轮疫苗接种活动

魁北克卫生部周一（15日）启动另一轮新冠疫苗加强剂接种活动，对象为在政府长期护理院（CHSLD）和私人老人住宅 (RPA) 的住客。
当局建议基本疫苗接种和第一剂加强剂量相距3个月或以上时间，而每次后续加强剂量之间则建议相隔5个月或更长时间。
魁北克公共卫生总监布瓦洛医生（Dr. Luc Boileau）早前警告说，随着学生重返学校，新冠病例在秋季极有可能增加。他因此宣布将加强新冠疫苗接种工作。
他还重申，尽管大家可能已经抗疫疲劳，但公众仍需保持警惕并遵循卫生措施，例如在拥挤的地方戴口罩，在出现症状时进行隔离以及保持最新的疫苗接种记录。
魁北克省长勒戈（François Legault）最近接种了第四剂新冠疫苗。他鼓励大家效仿他的做法，尤其是那些不太可能患重病的年轻人。
他说，大家必须团结一致并接种疫苗以减少传染，尤其是在接触弱势群体的时候。
省长指出，当局将提供有关最新一轮疫苗接种运动的信息，并讨论儿童的低接种率原因。
