两人连续遭枪杀 省长矢言恢复蒙特利尔“秩序”

蒙特利尔周二（23日）有两名男子先后在光天化日下被枪杀，魁北克省长勒戈（François Legault）矢言将采取行动消除蒙市的枪支暴力。
勒戈周三在推特称，他已经与公共安全部长吉尔伯特（Genevieve Guilbault）以及蒙特利尔市长普兰特（Valerie Plante ）讨论了这个问题。
他写道：“我们将不遗余力地恢复秩序和保护公民，将支持我们的警察部队制止这种暴力行为。”
勒戈随后在发布的另一条推文中表示，他不会允许蒙特利尔成为“帮派的射击场”。
周二下午，两名年龄分别为 44 岁和 50 岁的男子在同一小时内分别被枪杀。
蒙特利尔警方2021年的数据显示，暴力事件自2016年以来显著增加，凶杀案增加了39.5%。
自 2016 年以来，谋杀未遂增加了 27.1%，袭击增加了 22.6%，性侵犯增加了 32.2%。
但暴力案件并不一定涉及枪支。
事实上，与大流行前的年份相比，枪支犯罪率实际上有所下降。
根据警方数据，枪支犯罪总数从 2020 年的 251 起增加到 2021 年的 376 起，但前四年的情况如下：2019 年为 344 起，2018 年为 436 起，2017 年为 501 起，2016 年为 513 起。
到 2022 年为止，蒙特利尔的枪支暴力发生率将与 2021 年持平。
