加拿大75岁及以上养老金下周起上调一成 50年来首次！

加拿大政府将从下周开始，将75岁以上长者的老年保障金（Old Age Security ，简称OAS，俗称养老金）提高10%，联邦政府的声明指，除了通胀调整外，这将是自1973年以来首次永久性提高该项养老金福利。倡权人士再批评这一新措施将 65至75岁之间的长者人群排除在外。
联邦政府的声明称，新措施将惠及330万长者，全额养老金领取者，预计在第一年将能额外多拿$800加币。
政府官网目前已经更新，65-74岁的养老金上限为每月$666.83，75岁及以上的养老今上调10%，上限变为每月$733.51，一年就是$8802.12加币。
去年8月，联邦政府还向符合OAS资格的长者一次性支付了500元，这也是去年预算案的一部分。
加拿大退休人士协会 (简称CARP) 的首席社区官奎因（Anthony Quinn）表示，“虽然 OAS的增加是可喜的，但 65至75岁之间的长者人群仍然被排除在外。我们很高兴政府正在对OAS给予关注，但问题是他们忽略了大部分有需要的长者。”
