加拿大环境部发出警告说，魁北克南部将遭遇强大的风暴系统，在周末前带来降雪、强风和一些降雨。
环境部表示，一个“强烈”的低压系统将于周四晚上至周六到达该地区，并可能导致一些恶劣的驾驶环境。
在周一（19日）发布的特殊天气声明涵盖多个地区，包括蒙特利尔、拉瓦尔(Laval)、隆格伊(Longueuil)和Châteauguay-La Prairie地区。
气象局警告说，圣劳伦斯河以北地区将出现大雪和吹雪，而南部地区可能会下雨而不是下雪。
环境部在天气警告说：“由于系统的轨迹存在不确定性，现在提供详细信息还为时过早。”
随着冷空气移动，魁北克南部的部分地区可能会在周末出现暴风雪。
环境部呼吁大家提前计划假期行程，因为路况会很困难，而且可能出现停电。
尽管周五的预报最高气温为摄氏9度，但预计气温将骤降，到周日最高气温为摄氏-8度。
蒙特利尔这个时候的正常温度是摄氏-3度。
预计到周五气温都将徘徊在零度附近。
蒙特利尔上周遭遇了冬季第一场暴风雪，从上周五到上周日早上，降雪量约为 37 厘米。
