加拿大上月通胀率降至9个月以来最低 但食品价格仍然上涨

加拿大统计局周二(17日)公布消费者价格指数(CPI)，去年12月年度通胀率略降至6.3%，是9个月以来最低，但食品和汽油价格依然维持高位，食品零售平均价格上涨11%，比去年11月的11.4%略有下降。农业食品分析专家称，短期内市民将要面对奶类食品、鸡蛋、烘烤食品如面包等价格上升。
去年夏天加国通胀率达最高值8.1%，之后缓慢下降到11月6.8%，12月6.3%。如果排除食品和能源两个主要上涨的部分，去年12月的通胀率为5.3%。
达尔豪斯大学(Dalhousie University)农业食品分析实验室的高级主管沙勒布瓦(Sylvain Charlebois)说，「食品价格居高不下主要是受到面包和奶制品的影响，去年春季爆发的俄乌战争使得俄罗斯和乌克兰这两大小麦生产国的出口受阻，导致全球小麦价格上涨，到去年底略有好转，但是如果战争继续，影响也会继续。奶制品受上游奶牛养殖和农业生产影响，产能要恢复需要一段时间，所以直到今年春季价格不会回落。」
沙勒布瓦还说，「食品价格上涨的另一重要因素是食品零售业缺乏市场竞争。政府正在起草公平竞争限制垄断价格的政策，我想到2024年市场环境会改变，人为垄断价格现象会消失。」
